Don’t just assemble parts in a kit. Learn by making at Be A Maker Club. Started by a parent as a resource for their own children, we teach children to make using 3D printers, laser engraver, CNC, sewing machine, vinyl cutter, soldering iron and multiple hand tools.
Be A Maker Club provides makerspaces for children. Our mission is to provide a safe space where children can make, explore and experiment. We want to develop and sustain children’s interest in Science, Technology, Robotics, Engineering, Arts and Math. Your young maker can access machines at our location in Upland. We keep our classes small so each child gets the full attention they deserve. We also provide MOBILE MAKERSPACES for enrichment and STEM related activities on location at schools, homeschool groups and camps.
Our motto is ‘Hi-tech with high touch.’ We want young makers to embrace technology with hands-on learning. We encourage learning through making mistakes, observing others and exploration. Our instructors play the role of a coach, encouraging the children to make their own design and material choices. Our classes are catered for children as young as 5 years old up to 14 years. Some of our popular classes are Introduction to 3D printing, CNC digital woodworking, Laser cutting and engraving, Introduction to soldering and electronics, with more added every month.
Located in College Business Park, we are surrounded by an active community of local artists, makers and craftspeople. Umakers makerspace is our immediate neighbor which give us the opportunity to bring over expert makers for guest sessions.
